The latest episode of the web series PBS Space Time asks the question, “Is it irrational to believe in aliens?” I personally would like to think that we aren’t alone in the vast universe. Well, the host of the web series, Gabe Perez-Giz, attempts to give us an answer to this question, and in the process breaks down the theories and facts that are for and against the belief that there is intelligent life out there in the Universe. The host even pulls out the heavy guns and explains the Drake equation and the Fermi paradox and how they apply to this argument. The video is incredibly fascinating.
