In April 2007, federal prosecutors named Ronald “Tenad” Washington as an accomplice in the murder. Washington also is a suspect in the 1995 murder of Randy “Stretch” Walker, a former close associate of the late rapper Tupac Shakur, who was also murdered. According to court papers filed by the prosecution, Washington pointed his gun at those present in the studio, ordered them to get on the ground and provided cover for his associate to shoot and kill Jason Mizell, however, he was never convicted and no new suspects have been named.

the crazy part seems to me that a dj, or a producer, vocalist, esp. a dj, is the most "quiet" member of the group, or should i say harmless?whatever.

im sure it had nothing to do w music. maybe jmj was a g on the DL.

Supposedly drug deal he got himself into (to make more money to keep taking care of his family and friends) gone bad, so he ended up owing money to some shady figures.

BTW, unlike other DJs, he always put himself in the front, gave Run and DMC street credibility and that famous Run-DMC "uniform".

That interview with the Big D guy at the end was super suspicious. Instead of focusing on himself being innocent, he warns Derrick Parker (the "hip-hop cop" guy) that he'll get his jaw broken or worse for saying he was involved in JMJ's murder. And he also puts on sunglasses during that part of the interview. Maybe he just did that because the lights were bright but he also might have done that so people couldn't see his eyes to try to figure out if he was lying. I think that Tinard guy is definitely involved, not sure about the rest.
