Power Book 2 fans were left concerned when episode 6 didn’t air on October 11th, leaving many to wonder if Power Book 2 has been cancelled.

No, Power Book 2 is not cancelled.

The reason why episode 6 did not air on October 11th is because the show is taking a mid-season break.

According to the Express, filming on Power Book 2 was delayed thanks to the lockdowns imposed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a result, only half of the season was ready to air by September and more filming will have to be completed in order to get the remaining episodes ready.

Episode 6 of Power Book 2 will air at some point in December.

The exact release date has not yet been revealed.

However, fans can look forward to five more episodes as the season is expected to contain 10 episodes in total.

Beyond that, Power Book 2 has also been renewed for a second season already so while there may be a delay now, there is plenty more to come.
