BF3 trailer looks no different than any other FPS shooter game trailer, just like MW3. What it comes down to is what I was saying in my other posts about FPS. In the end FPS will always be about a dude with a gun killing people. You can only be so innovative when it comes to that. Throwing in vehicles, destructible environments, better graphics, whatever, your still a dude, running around with a gun, killing people. You can't really expect much more out of it. BF3 will be just like BF2 with better graphics, MW3 will be just like MW2 but with better graphics. For me at least Spec Ops was ridiculously fun, and I plan to get MW3 for spec ops alone. -

The man game modes from all cod's are 6 vs 6. Its not only hardcore mode. You will never get vehicles in cod like on BF games. Why you not playing BF if you like that so much lol?Originally posted by Ted Johnson View Post

Cod4 was totally new with his new Multiplayer, they had a whole new concept, but they are doing the same now for years. and thats boring. Thats why I loved homefront, they were doing something different, with a new kind of killstreak concept, plus some other very nice new ideads.
The problem I have with new cod's is: They are all the same, only a few different maps, same killstreak concept and a few new weapons, same gamemodes, same shitty serrvers. Thats it. They never try anything new. And when they make some new ideas, its all over the top with double shotguns, grenade launchers so overpowered, comnando etc.
Cod is going to the mainstream side of gaming, I understand it to make more money. But I dont like it. These game are made for everybody and dont need any skill to play it good. The game is helping people so hard to get good scores. Killstreaks, auto aim, less health etc.
Personally I dont like that.
Call of duty is just the Lil Wayne from the game industry in my opinion. It sells good to the mainstream because its so easy accessible. But Its far from a good game (Cod 4 was). They are getting lazy after cod4, cause they see everything will sell, even when the game is bad.Comment

i dont play BF because its garbage.... lol.. i like OWNING!!!... and hardcore IS a realistic game mode... i was suggesting that you play that because vehicles probably wouldnt be included in hardcore... like i said.. you just got to know how to use the vehicles and how to get rid of them... if your good enough to know how to get rid of them easy like i do then they are not a problem as far as there attack goes.... for instance... double charges on the ground next to a tank can will blow it up with one shot in WaW... only people that dont know that get annihilated...Originally posted by LarsVerb View PostComment

Na hardcore is far from realistic aswell, maybe only that you die so fast. But every other aspect from the game isnt. Its not possible to have another opinion about this, cause its not. The developers said it themselfs aswell, cod is an arcade shooter.
I dont care or people love cod, and who not. But people beed to understand that Cod is an easy shooter, that everyone can pick up and can make a good score. I dont like it when cod fans say cod is an hardcore, realistic, skills needed shooter. Cause its not.Comment

There were also vihicles in COD: United Offensive (the Addon) but I think I'm the only one who has started with part 1 in 2003, lol. but I agree vihicles in COD were the biggest mistake they did.
