Grand Theft Auto games have traditionally included one playable character, but a new rumor suggests that Grand Theft Auto V could break the mold. Multiple sources have told Kotaku that the game will feature multiple playable characters throughout its story. They've also heard reports that the game will feature a fictional version of Los Angeles, though it hasn't been confirmed if that means San Andreas.


This fits with rumors we heard earlier this year that the game would take place on the west coast. This is only a rumor for now, and we'll hopefully see more details when Rockstar reveals the game's trailer on November 2nd.

Gta 3 and vice city were dope. San Andreas was the best in my opinion. But GTA4 was so boring. Lost my interest in that game in 2 hours.

GTA 4 was da bomb, no boring, just WOW!!! damn good story with the serb Niko Belic lol i was impressed by the graphics etc... pretty good game... the second ps3 GTA game was also ok imo, but didnt finished it yet...

Citing anonymous sources "familiar with the game," Kotaku reports that Grand Theft Auto V will take place in a Rockstarified version of Los Angeles, one of the cities mocked up in an earlier installment in the franchise, San Andreas. We suppose the locale makes sense -- wouldn't adapting it be as easy as taking all their assets from L.A. Noire, then applying 75 years of wear, tear and technological progress to the structures therein?

The source also claims that more than one character will be playable during Five's campaign, which similarly makes sense, considering the extra protagonists which appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV's expansions. We've contacted Rockstar, and are encasing ourselves in suspended animation for the next week or so, shortening the amount of time between us and the game's debut trailer on November 2.

The best game series for me ! I always loved atmosphere of the game, the cutscene,texts of characters and the story of the main character. :up; I played every single episode that showed on PC Game from graphic point will look like GTA IV I think. What y'all think about the place in the game? Maybe Los Angeles ?

And I love GTA for soundtrack too Gta San Andreas have the best soundtrack I think, just rolling over LS playing radio Los Santos (2pac I don't Give A Fuck) and many , many more.
Would you like to see 2pac model in the game ? Just like Ryder=Eazy-E in GTA:SA. I think it would be dope to see the hq model
