Well this is a line-crossing worth taking note of. Gamasutra reports that Hirokazu Yasuhara, co-creator of Sonic the Hedgehog, has taken a job at Nintendo.
Because it's never the wrong time for a Ghostbusters quote: Dogs and cats! Living together! Mass hysteria!
Yasuhara has joined Nintendo's Software Technology devision, an American-based second-party developer that has worked on a ton of Nintendo franchises, focusing largely on DS and DSiware games. Among others, NST was the studio behind Metroid Prime Hunters and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem.
Okay, this isn't actually that crazy. It's been a long time since Sega and Nintendo had any sort of real rivalry. But still, it's the principle of the thing. Next we'll be hearing that Ronald McDonald is moving in with the Burger King King and they're going into business together.
