Performance Designed Products has recently unveiled their Afterglow Headsets to go hand in hand with updated Aferglow controllers and communicators. If they sound as good as they look, color us excited (and luminescent shades of neon).
The Afterglow headsets come packing 50mm Neodymium Speakers, a dual suspension headband design for less wearer fatigue, and three audio modes: Pure Audio, Bass Boost, and 3D Cinema Surround Sound. Better still, the wired headsets come with an enticing $59.95 pricetag.
At $89.95, the wireless headsets will cost an extra 30 bones and boast similar specs, but come with the added convenience of less cords. The wireless headsets will come pre-paired to a transmitter with up to 40ft wireless range, and an Energizer Lithium Polymerer battery with an advertised 10 hours of gaming per charge. A charging cable's included.
Both will be available in September at retailers across North America.
PDP is also completely updating their massively popular Afterglow Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii controllers.
