If you were wondering how the stealthy approach will work in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, wonder no more, as Ubisoft has released a new walkthrough video showing an alternate method to completing the demo showcased at E3 in a much quieter, non-confrontational way.
Featuring commentary from Splinter Cell Community Developer, Zack, the so-called 'Ghost' playthrough shows how Sam Fisher can use his surroundings, like the cliff edge in the enemy encampment, to evade guards and avoid raising the alarm. The video also has picture-in-picture showing how the E3 demo was originally completed, with Sam using his 'Killing in Motion' skills to dispatch all the guards with brutal, ruthless efficiency.
Going almost non-lethal, we see that in the Ghost playthrough, there's only one kill and one body to hide. Sam can also decide against calling in the airstrike seen in the E3 demo, leaving Grimsdottir to "sweat it out". Check out the trailer for a work in progress, pre-alpha look at Splinter Cell: Blacklist's stealth. The game is out in March 2013.
