New dungeons, new loot, new bosses, same Death.
THQ has announced a price and release date for Argul’s Tomb, the upcoming downloadable content for Darksiders II. The pack will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on September 25th for $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points), and a day later (September 26th) for PlayStation 3 players in Europe. For anyone who bought the Darksiders II Limited Edition (the first print run of the game), you’ll get the pack for free using the code included in your copy.
Argul’s Tomb includes two dungeons in addition to new legendary loot. The pack also adds new boss battles and new ice-themed environments. The content is meant to be played by players who have already finished the first three zones of Darksiders II and will add “additional challenge” for players of any level.
Darksiders II was released on August 14th on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3, and a Wii U version will follow on November 18th (the day Wii U launches). Argul’s Tomb is the first downloadable content for the game and will be included on the disc with the Wii U version.
