  • Navy SEALs Who Consulted on Medal of Honor: Warfighter Get Sanctioned

Seven U.S. Navy SEALs who consulted Electronic Arts and its Danger Close studio on the recently launched Medal of Honor: Warfighter, have been sanctioned by the Navy because they shared classified material with the video game companies.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter hyped up on more than one occasion that actual U.S. Navy SEALs have consulted on the game by detailing their previous missions, their strategies, and even their successes, like the assassination of Osama bin Laden.

Sadly, it seems that they shared too much details as CBS reports that the Navy has issued sanctions to seven of the SEALs involved with the Warfighter project.

According to the report, they shared classified material with EA and violated an “unwritten code that SEALs are silent warriors who shun the spotlight.”

No other details are known and EA has yet to comment on this problem.
