Rage Scorchers DLC Officially Confirmed With Screens

Bethesda has officially confirmed that the Scorchers DLC for id Software's Rage is coming next week, adding six new areas to its dusty desert world, as you fight the titular bandit clan among other things.

Rage's Scorchers DLC sees you fighting alongside new allies as you strive to protect the Hager Settlement from the insane, marauding bandits, while you'll also be able to engage in a new season of Mutant Bash TV, take on some new mini-games and bust out the "overpowering and brutal" Nailgun. Sounds good to us.

You'll be able to get your hands on the Rage Scorchers DLC from December 18th for 400 Microsoft Points.

I can't believe they're coming out with DLC for this so long after the release of the game. Surprising considering they complained that this game's sales numbers weren't good. Looks like a good game though, I have it just haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Good to see this DLC isn't overpriced like every other piece of content for other games. $5 is reasonable especially since they've used the word "expansion" when speaking on this DLC. Hopefully it's good.
