Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro, director of Deadly Premonition, has promised 'surprising and amazing news' this year.
Praised for its quirky, almost surrealistic qualities, Deadly Premonition is a detective mystery in which you take the role of special agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates a murder and battles monsters.
Writing on his blog before New Year, Suehiro said "To all my fans, who keep giving me their never-ending support... I think I'll have some surprising and amazing news for you next year."
Back in 2011, Suehiro told press that he was he was "working on different types of Deadly Premonition-related projects", going on to say he was considering both a prequel and a sequel.
We’ll see what he comes up with, but in this light another Deadly Premonition game seems likely.
