I agree that in a general sense it is not a phobia, and I used to argue that same point, but the term has sprouted legs and now stands on its own. As Wikipedia says, 'It can be expressed as antipathy, contempt, prejudice, aversion, or hatred, and may be based on irrational fear.' Also some dictionaries do list 'hatred of [something]' under the definition of 'phobia', which makes it technically accurate in the eyes of some dictionary makers, though I don't agree with that definition. Regardless, it is a term that is generally accepted and you can't put it back in a box now. I dislike the term, but it's useful and it's meaning is understood by all, so there it is.

Also it's funny how since I first replied to this thread the 'ni gg er' in the title has been censored. 2pac threw out 'niggas' all the time, there's no way that seeing that word is going to unduly offend anyone here.
