GTA V Delayed!!!

Release date is now September 17, 2013.

Dear all,

Today, we have an official release date to share with you: Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in stores on September 17, 2013.

We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time. GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.

To all Grand Theft Auto fans, please accept our apologies for the delay, and our promise that the entire team here is working very hard to make the game all it can be. We are doing all we can to help ensure it will meet if not exceed your expectations come September – we thank you for your support and patience.

GTA V Delayed!!!

Oh well not that big of a deal. I think I may cancel my Pre order and put it towards another game. Alien colonial marines collectors edition or the GOW. Damn GtaV will make more episodes like the last one. Plus it'll be like 30$ for a few games in one as usual so ill rent and wait it out for the combo pack. Thanks for the info.

See that's the thing with game delays. You think that a game is going to get released with very minimal glitches/bugs after being delayed but honestly what game releases these days without needing a damn patch within the first month of release? Being that this is Rockstar, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I think this is more to do with them trying to perfect the multiplayer side of things for GTA V but if this is to polish up the single player, I'm all for that.

I rather have a more finished game, then when they just release an non finished game. Because they need to get the deadline. What is happening with alot games these days. Too many games are rushed and released broken.
