  • Assassin's Creed Figures Coming From McFarlane Toys This Summer

Spruce up your desk with some Connor man-dolls.

First Master Chief got the McFarlane Toys treatment, now Connor is getting immortalized in six-inch, posable action-figure form.

Ubisoft and McFarlane Toys announced a partnership that will bring action figures from Assassin's Creed to your shelves this summer. Series 1 will include AC3's Connor, Haytham Kenway, and five other figures.

"It's a strong triple-A franchise and it's growing," McFarlane Toys CEO and company namesake Todd McFarlane told IGN when asked what drew him to Assassin's Creed. "That's all you can hope for when you get into something like this. And then, visually, the intricacies of all the uniforms...it's in our sweet spot. Our guys thrive at doing intricate detail."

Each figure boasts 25 points of articulation and includes "a unique code that unlocks exclusive Assassin's Creed video game content," according to McFarlane Toys.

Asked which Creed hero makes the best action figure, McFarlane himself instead offered an analogy: "There are some long lines in some of these uniforms. It's like looking at a sports car and going, 'Wow, look at the sexy lines on that!'"

As for who might show up in Series 2, McFarlane said, "I put out the first series and then we take a step back. If the first series sells, then we go, 'Oh my gosh, we've got to do a Series 2!' And then we talk to the community [to see what they want]."

Finally, IGN asked McFarlane if we might see some larger, limited-edition statues in the Assassin's Creed line, similar to the monstrously awesome Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn piece we got our hands on last holiday "Yeah, we'll bug Ubisoft about that. There are a couple uniforms that just scream 'BIGGER!' because they're just so cool to look at."
