Tom Clancy's The Division first screenshots released showing off next-gen graphics

The first screenshots of Ubisoft's exciting new Tom Clancy game, The Division, have been released online.

Thrusting players into an online world descending into chaos, The Division is an RPG co-operative third person game set in a post apocalyptic New York City.

Undoubtedly one of the most exciting games revealed thus far at E3, The Division demonstrated Ubisoft's penchant for showcasing the power of next-gen systems.

First gameplay footage for Tom Clancy's The Division for Xbox One & PS4 is here.

Ubisoft has just announced the latest installment into the Tom Clancy family of games, The Division, for Xbox One and PS4.

Developed by Massive Entertainment, The Division is a gorgeous new IP showcasing the power of the next-gen systems.

The first gameplay footage can be viewed below, and our original story can be viewed here.

Ubisoft has announced a new title from Massive Entertainment, the developers behind Ground Control, called Tom Clancy's The Division for next-gen systems.

Played out across a persistant online world, The Division looks to take the squad-based, RPG elements of Borderlands and crosses it with the survival antics found in Day Z.

Described as "a whole new online, RPG experience" coming to PS4 and Xbox One in 2014, the initial footage looked incredibly impressive.

Boasting gorgeous detailed worlds, exciting squad based gameplay and even interaction with tablet players - letting them control drones while your team takes on ground units - Ubisoft has once again blown the doors off of next-gen expectations.

The Division is a brand new Tom Clancy series, a surprise considering the lack of Rainbow Six: Patriots and next-gen Ghost Recon at the press conference.

One of the most exciting games unveiled thus far at E3, expect more on this as the story develops.
