The Xbox One has been ridiculed ever since its reveal, which focused mainly on the TV and less on gaming (which is the primary function of a console). So this begs the question, which console has more to offer?
Xbox One
The Xbox One as its name tries to hint at is made to be an All-in-One entertainment system. The Xbox One fuses everything from gaming, to watching TV, Skyping and browsing the internet. The console has magnificent multi-tasking abilities, you could be Skyping and playing a game or watching TV, you could be browsing the internet and searching for tips on a game or for more information on the TV show you are currently watching as you browse the internet. The Xbox One will also record your last 5 minutes gaming and you will be able to upload it to Youtube. It is a very flexible system that is designed to bring everything into one place. All of this can be done via voice commands. The consoles Kinect is the heart of the Xbox One, without it the console cannot function.
The Kinect is another marvel of engineering. The Kinect motion sensing camera can recognize you and your voice, the camera can “see” in the dark and it can even measure your heartbeat. If the Kinect camera is used correctly it can provide many gaming experiences only available to the Xbox One. Microsoft has bundled the Kinect camera into every Xbox One console to ensure you will have the best and most accurate entertainment experience available. Aside from the many wonders the Kinect camera can do, there will surely be many cool hacks just like there are with the Xbox 360’s Kinect camera.

Simply put the PS4 is a gaming machine. Sony has never ignored the television when it comes to its consoles, but the primary focus of the system is to play the best games. The PS4 also has a camera but it will not be bundled with every system. Sony believes if a gamer is interested in the camera, they will go and buy it on their own, instead of having a camera bundled that would always need to be on in order for the console to function.
The PS4 has many cool features, no you will not watch TV on your PS4- but your friends can watch you game and form a chat room as they comment on your gaming session. The PS4 has the Share button which allows you to share across social media sites like Twitter and Facebook you will share epic moments while you are gaming. The console also constantly records your gameplay allowing you to upload your videos to Youtube, it has been confirmed that the PS4 will record the last 15 minutes you were playing a game. You will also be able to do live gameplay broadcast via Ustream. And as always Blu-ray movies will be compatible with the PS4 and movies in 4K resolution will be supported on the system.
