Telltale Games has finally debuted the trailer for their next big adventure game title “The Wolf Among Us.” In this new game, the developer has turned away from the world of zombies and adorable kids to focus instead on a world filled with fairytale characters.
“The Wolf Among Us” is based upon the Vertigo Comics property “Fables.” In that series, fairytale characters are cast out of their world and land in ours, where they attempt to blend in and hide amongst us. One of them is Bigby Wolf, formerly known as the Big Bad Wolf. Instead of continuing his life of wanton destruction and grandma eating, Bigby has decided to reform and now acts as a sheriff for the rest of the Fables.
In the trailer below, we get a small taste of who Bigby is and what the world of “The Wolf Among Us” will look like. The game seems to be operating off the same engine as the Walking Dead, with a similar art style. However, being that this is a comic book adaptation, the style seems to fit perfectly with the game.
