One of the, if not the, most important aspects that fans of the annual WWE video game look forward to each and every year is the reveal of the game’s roster – WWE 2K14 is no exception. While the entirety of the concurrent roster is still unknown (although a handful have already been confirmed), 2K Games took the liberty of unveiling all of the legends and modern day wrestlers that’ll be playable in the recently announced 30 Years of WrestleMania mode.
The initial onslaught of characters is enough to make any wrestling aficionado’s head spin, and a couple of highly requested Superstars will at long last be appearing in-game. The premise of allowing even more dream match-ups to play out in WWE 2K14‘s standard multiplayer options is tantalizing enough, but the possibilities are now nearly endless with the likes of Ric Flair, Batista, Yokozuna, and Goldberg now officially joining the fray.

With NWO more or less reunited with the entirety of its original roster, fans can finally pit the legendary trio against other factions like Evolution. Goldberg’s return to a WWE ring, while only digital, is something that gamers have been asking for for years, and should get longtime followers of the product excited. Meanwhile, the return of Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Batista, and many more famous grapplers are all welcome and set the stage for a number of classic bouts – although fans will have to pre-order the game to score The Ultimate Warrior.
There are still a number of grapplers that have yet to be confirmed for WWE 2K14, but 2K Games will get around to announcing those combatants at a later date. For now, however, the known roster should be more than enough to start generating significant buzz for the title.
WWE 2K14 will be slamming onto store shelves in North America this October 29th and November 1st internationally.
