Telltale president and co-founder Kevin Bruner would like to make a James Bond game if he were ever afforded the chance.
"I'm a giant James Bond fan and I'm always frustrated by games that make him a mass murderer," Bruner told OXM when asked which license he'd adapt if money and licensing hurdles were not a factor.
"He's a super-spy, and that's a different skillset," he explained. "The films make him less of a mass murderer, and there's not much killing in the books – more spying and intrigue."
In October last year Bruner also expressed his enthusiasm for Star Wars (asserting a "Telltale Star Wars game would make me VERY happy!") and mentioned Telltale Games does have something in the pipe that "pretty much checks all of my personal [intellectual property] favorites." Fellow studio head Dan Connors added Telltale "can't wait" to announce a "few licenses that definitely fall into our dream IP scenario" the studio will be working on following The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
