Slender: The Arrival, last year's commercial sequel to 2012's free browser-based creep-fest Slender: The Eight Pages, will make its way to consoles in the first quarter of this year.
Developer Blue Isle Studios' horror game will arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 some time in Q1 with two new "flashback levels" that players will be able to access once they've completed the core game. According to publisher Midnight City (Majesco's indie label), the console version of Slender: The Arrival will "delve deeper" into the lives of those touched by the game's terrifying antagonist Slender Man, and the new flashback levels will put players "into the shoes" of his victims.
This new content will also be added as a free update to the PC and Steam versions of The Arrival following its release on consoles.
We reviewed Slender: The Arrival last year, praising its ability to build suspense but also noting its repetitiveness.
