  • Metro 2033 And Metro: Last Light Possibly Hitting PS4 and Xbox One

Update: Developer 4A has confirmed that Metro Redux is coming to "the latest generation of console hardware."

The developer wrote, "As you can see, we're not quite ready to reveal 4A Games' first next-gen console project, but we will be making an announcement this side of E3."

Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light could soon be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, if a leaked retail listing is to be believed.

First surfacing on Everyeye.it, the below images suggest a reworked version titled Metro Redux will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC from July.

Mention is made in the listings of Day One DLC, limited edition packaging, art cards and a soundtrack. Though there's no official confirmation about the pack, the developer and publisher are listed as 4A Games and Deep Silver respectively, the companies responsible for bringing the two games to market.

Metro 2033 first released on Xbox 360 and PC in March 2010, when the survival horror title received an okay review. The sequel, Metro: Last Light, came to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in May 2013 to a marginally better reception.
