    it looks awesome, but so does wolfenstein, and it was just another console game that footage looks a bit random to me.

          Do you mean the new Doom, because Doom 3 was released in 2004.

                Yes, I completely agree man! But now that you have mentioned Doom 3 from 2004 I want to go back and play that again as well :-)

                    Anyone played this yet? I was thinking of renting it. I don't care for the multiplayer I'm more concerned about the story mode. I have never played a doom game before lol. Any reviews from you guys?

                      Honestly i didn't like it at all. I prefer the classic from the 90's over this a million times over. My childhood years wouldn't have been complete without the original. Thankfully i was introduced to DOOM when i was 6 years old.

                        the Story Mode isnt like in Doom 3 from what I have heard, it's more action based like Doom 1 & 2

                          I watched the story mode trailer that was in the first post and it looks pretty cool. Like I said I haven't played any Doom game so it looked like a pretty intense shooter.
