METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN 40 Minute E3 Gameplay Demo

Konami has released 40 awesome minutes of gameplay footage for Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom. This was a demo that was being shown off at E3 2015 earlier this week. This game seriously looks badass. I wouldn't expect anything less from Metal Gear Solid though. Here are the details of the plot of the game:

The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan has brought a new edge to the Cold War, and in 1984, a one-eyed man with a prosthetic arm appears in the country. Those who know him call him Snake; the legendary mercenary who was once swept from the stage of history and left in a coma by American private intelligence network Cipher. Snake is accompanied by Ocelot, an old friend who saved him from attack when he finally awoke.

Now, Snake’s former partner Kazuhira Miller is being held by the Soviet forces in Afghanistan. Snake must undertake a solo mission to rescue Miller and prove to the world that the legendary mercenary is not dead and gone.

That first step will lead to a path of vengeance against the very Cipher that slaughtered so many of Snake’s men, and to a battle that will embroil the whole world…

What started in Ground Zeroes… must finish with V.

The game is set to be released on September 1st for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and for the PC on September 15th. You can pre-order it here if you like what you see.

I only watched few minutes of the gameplay demo footage, because I dont want to spoil myself too much.

What I have seen so far looks amazing.

The last Metal Gear Solid game will be epic. I cant wait to play this game.


I started playing Ground Zeroes few days ago and I was really bad, because they changed the control for no reason. Really strange. That why I got bad ranks after each mission. Got my first S rank yesterday, 4 left.
