Ps1 was waaay too expensive.
Even now. Ps4 is around 350 euros. Games from 30 to 60 euros.

i know, and i remember, back in 1996-1998 when we visited bosnia/orasje, my family there, they couldnt effort ps1 at all, IF people there had ps1 then people like us from germany have brought them as present. many people there played super nintendo still in 1996-1998...
and i remember my cousins had a console no name console with some weird games on... think it was a black market bootleg console.. thats all they could efford back then.

PS1 was expensive.. I don't know compared to other euro countries but in the UK, for me, coming from single parent background with less money, it was not affordable.

I had to buy a used one off someone else. And we afforded it because as a kid, used to hang outside all the time on the estate, equivalent to projects. People come and go from work, one day I come across a heavy thick gold bracelet where some guy from the other block usually parks his car. Man I picked that up quick. Mum pawned it and thats how we afforded my first playstation lol

Yeah. Actually its pretty much the same even now.
Average salary is around 430 euros.
And ps4 is 300plus euros.
It is really expensive for people over here

I did not have a console until I was around 8 or so I think maybe even older. I got the old NES from my uncle. Was pretty dated then but still I was happy! Couldn't afford in from years on until I bought an XBox when I was like 16 or so. Now I own all three consoles haha. Couldn't imagine back then.

Notice the word Preloaded... I think it could mean we might be able to load games on it ourselves... maybe.. hopefully.. but probably not at least until the hackers take care of that

if it says preloaded, that might mean Sony has a plan to make more games available to be added to it. Either way, the hackers will make it possible, and free.

nice to see GTA/MGS/TEKKEN/SYPHON FILTER/RESIDENT EVIL/ FINAL FANTASY and Abe's Oddysee on there.
