HDMI For Phones

You plug this into your device I seen, and through into the TV or whatever, but can someone tell me what are the benefits of having the HDMI accessory with your phone?

you can play videos from phone on your tv and or you can plug it into your a/v receiver.
plus you have to pay for the license and enough blind ppl out there want the newest stuff in their phones, even the most gimmicks are still unused.

yeah thats bqwically it .. u can play the hd videos that ur phone captures on an hd tv ... and if u have movies or whatever stored in ur phone u can play that too

the iPhone 4s records in 1080p.. so with the hdmi lead u can watch it on your tv in full 1080p resolution

It shows everything on tv as on phone, at least with my Optimus 2X.. You can play games etc on hd screen, its a nice feature imo. I dont use it much often though.
