Ubisoft announced today that Assassin’s Creed: The Fall is now available for purchase on iPad as a stand-alone app. The three-issue miniseries originally hit comic shops in 2011 to significant critical praise. IGN gave the comic book companion an 8 / 10.
The iPad release comes just after Ubisoft revealed The Fall’s follow-up Assassin’s Creed: The Chain. For now there is no news on whether this second series will also receive a digital release, but it seems likely.
The app is available as a $0.99 purchase and includes the first issue. Issues 2 and 3 are available as $2.99 in-app purchases. A trailer and making-of are also included in the download as bonus features.
