Nintendo Direct have revealed the release date for Fire Emblem: Awakening. The game will be available on 19 April, exactly one year after the game has been released in Japan. As apology for making European fans wait for the game Mr. Shibata also announced a Limited Edition 3DS XL Bundle exclusive to Europe.
The Bundle includes an exclusive blue Nintendo 3DS XL console with Fire Emblem art imprinted on the console itself, already pre-loaded with a digital copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening.
Europe will also get all of the Japanese DLCs and the first one called “Champions of Yore 1″ can be downloaded free for a short period of time.
Considered that this console is not the same as the original consoles that were released on the other markets, we can still expect it to be limited. When the bundle went on sale in North America, it almost instantly sold out.
So, if you are a fan of the Fire Emblem series or even if you are just looking to make an investment you’ll better want to make sure to place your pre-order early.
The bundle currently costs £219.99 GBP at Amazon.co.uk
