  • You Don’t Know Jack Launches on Facebook

Now all your friends can see how "smart" you are!

The renaissance of Jellyvision’s 90s trivia franchise You Don’t Know Jack continued today, with the launch of You Don’t Know Jack on Facebook. The new version comes complete with all the subversive and irreverent humor the franchise is known for, including the return of host Cookie Masterson.

Jellyvision has stressed that YDKJ on Facebook features the same quality presentation (including full voice acting) the original CD-ROM editions built their reputation on, while also including plenty of modern social hooks. Gamers are automatically matched against any Facebook friends that have played that episode, and can also challenge/taunt specific friends.

“As we worked on the new design, we kept looking for every way we could to recreate the experience of playing YOU DON’T KNOW JACK with your family and friends,” Jellyvision Games Designer and Editorial Director Steve Heinrich said in a statement. “With this design we think we’ve accomplished a lot of that, even though we’ve never actually met your family and friends, probably.”

“Even with the new design and new features, players will be instantly familiar with YOU DON’T KNOW JACK on Facebook,” said Allard Laban, Creative Director, Jellyvision Games. “Favorites like the DisOrDat, Gibberish Question, and Jack Attack are all there.”

You Don’t Know Jack on Facebook is free-to-play, with optional purchases allowing players to purchase more “plays” through the game’s episodes. Jellyvision plans on rolling out this new, socially-infused YDKJ to iOS and Android later this year, complete with cross-platform multiplayer.
