Geralt’s sword hints at things to come
A teaser image on CD Projekt RED’s official site could be hinting at The Witcher 3. The image, posted in an update about the REDkit beta, shows off the hilt of Geralt’s sword and advises fans to “stay tuned for more info.” The post also notes that “if you are wondering what’s that in that picture above – well, we’ll leave it for your imagination to answer.”
Last week, CD Projekt RED showed off Cyberpunk 2077 but also hinted at an additional upcoming announcement. A teaser suggested that on February 5th, CD Projekt RED will reveal “a fully open world game with an intense story” that “is much closer to being completed.” At the time, CD Projekt RED said “you can probably guess the game we’re talking about,” suggesting that The Witcher 3 could indeed be announced on February 5th.
