On April 10, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online will finally end it's open beta and launch as Ghost Recon Phantoms, Ubisoft announced today.
The free-to-play shooter has been in open beta since 2012 and will see new features at launch that include redesigned characters and maps, an updated matchmaking system, and a "Mod Master" customization system.
"The end of open beta is a new start to the game. The difference between where the game started and the game today is so considerable that we felt we should mark it with a fresh identity,” said Corey Facteau, producer of Ghost Recon Phantoms. Ubisoft said that even after launch, it will continue to support Ghost Recon Phantoms with new features and modes.
