Pirates claim PS3 hack success

Even if this hack is truly successful, pirating on the PS3 is not viable. The sheer size of the games alone makes pirating a bit of a chore. Mounting a PS3 ISO would take up tremendous space plus not everyone has a blu-ray burner to burn games on a disc, let alone blank Blu-Ray discs aren't that cheap either. I don't think this is going to cause a mass piracy on the console like on the PSP, so Sony is safe for now.

This reminds me of those emulators for the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube,PSP etc. Though they have been able to crack by getting one or two games under specific circumstances to work they're still a very long way off.
