Which model is it? If it's one of the models that is PS2 backwards compatible, you could get much more for it.

the 60GB version right, you can tell cos I think it has a slide up cover on front with addtional slots or something.
More than likely you have the 40GB though cos that was that was more common.

If you go to the beggining screen before you load a game it should display how much hard drive space you have. Or I think on the actual console there is a label somewhere saying its serial number. I think it also says sony 40gb (or 60GB) PS3

And also if your unit has Flash card readers and 4 front USB ports then you have the 60 gig version with the backward compatibility and wireless connection. If yours doesnt the card readers and has only 2 USB ports, then you have the 40 GIG unit. Hope that helps..

Plus, are u planning to sell it on ebay? or just to a friend?

i would hold on to it for a while.

regardless of being the ps2 compatible one or not, the games look stupid and downscaled anyway so i dont think its a added value.

it is the fatter model tho, and when everyone figures out the slim version will have no chance to play pirated games, everyone will want the older model, early cracks have been made to it so its only a matter of time.

plus memory is irrelevant as u can change the hd either way.

ppl will buy it for one reason, its the crackable one.

I reckon that youd get more for it on ebay. But be wise on how you do do (lol) it if u do. Dont do the starting bid at like $1. Because what if only 1 person bids and you gota sell it for $1 lol. Start it at like $100 or whatever, dont know what its worth in dollars
