  • Game Suggestions For My Xbox 360 Life?

    Hey everyone,

I just bought my daugther an Xbox 360 Live with the 12 month subscriptions, the headset, and the texting pad. I also picked up Black Ops because she said she really wanted it.

However, I'll be playing it too but I'm from the old school when it comes to games. The last system I played that I really enjoyed was N64. My favorite games where NFL Blitz, Golden Eye 007. I also liked NBA Jam and Street Fighter 2 on Super Nintendo as well as Tekken on Playstation You know, the games where you can do crazy stuff

Anyone have any suggestions based on the stuff I liked to play in the past?

    Thanks!

Actually, yes. We just got back the day before yesterday and she opened it. Sadly, when I hooked it up and turned it on, the system popped up an E68 error. I looked it up and it was a faulty hard drive. Luckily, Sams Club took it back and exchanged it. Apparently, I had an older version they recently stopped selling and was able to get the S version for $50 more which also included 2 games, double the hard drive space, and wifi. I hooked it all up yesterday and it's working great. I also signed up for Netflix.

As for the games, we have Black Ops which I played for a couple of hours last night, very addicting.

I used to love Tekken, the first one on PS1.

Two games I always loved was Street Hoops on PS2, NBA Jam on SNES, NFL Blitz on N64. You know, the unrealistic, over the top sports games Do you know of any of those? I also used to love 007 Golden Eye on N64.

      Any more suggestions would rock.

      Thanks!

Right on brother. Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely take a look at the game you recommend. Super Street Fighter 4 is pretty good too

Yeah, I been playing it a bit. Fun and addicting game. BTW, did you guys notice Ice Cube's voice in the game as one of the people talking to you? Funny to hear that.

If you can handle it, then I suggest you reserve Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Games full of pros already lol.
Also the Super Street Fighter 4.
Those are pretty good fighting games I recommend.
You can always download from the marketplace for some classic games like Doom, Banjo Kazooie, and tons more man.

If I can handle it...heh. Yeah, sounds interesting, I might check that game out. I'm already playing Super Street Fighter 4 which is good. I haven't checked out the marketplace but will soon. I want some of my classics back. They wouldn't have an NES or SNES pack would they?

Yeah, there's a trial version and then you could buy the full game for about 1600 microsoft points which cost about 20 dollars.

Are they any ways to save money on the Microsoft points like coupons?
