Installing a hardrive into the ps3

Just seen this hardrive for sale ,320 gb for the ps3,
I was wondering if any of u computer geeks on makaveli forum could help me out and explain how to put one of these into the ps3.

Just seen this 1tb hd , i hope i can install this to the ps3?

Just heard that ps3 only is compataible with 2.5 inch drives, and 2.5 inch drives only go up to 500 gb

^yea that makes sense that it would only be compatable with 2.5 inch. they have alot of hardware in there and it is big as it is already, guess they didnt want to make it any bigger to accomodate 3.5 inch hard drives. but do you really need more than 500 GB?

Man im excited about getting this lol
Gona have so much room on my ps3, play tv says that 1 hour of recording takes up around 1gb space which isnt bad. I dont have to worry about space anymore.
