Like i told you the other day Brad, you can put any laptop hard drive in it as long as it fits. Right now you can go as high as 500gb drive but it is possible to put in a 1TB hard drive in the console but you have to modify the hard drive caddy a bit to get the actual hard drive to fit in the actual console. Just look around ebay, amazon, or newegg. Make sure you dont get just any shitty drive, just look up hd's that have good ratings for the Ps3. I have a Seagate ST9500325AS 500GB hard drive in one my Ps3's and it's actually faster than the stock hard drive that the PS3 came with. I purchased it from amazon around a year ago for $50 but has since gone back up to $100 but im sure you can find one comparable on ebay or something for the same price.

An hour of Nas and DJ Premier. All their collaborations, plus a few Mr. Kennedy Mixes!

I bought a 500gb sata hard drive or some shit thats working fine. Bought it for like £40 in the uk
Only problem was the damn blue screw that holds the drive in the PS3, I had to use a knife to fucking unscrew it lol

Did you have to format it to fat 32
or did you just put it in and turned on and it worked fine ?
                          Love.

You just put the drive in and the PS3 will automatically format it do it everything that is needed on it's own.
