  • Yellow Light Of Death

I bought my PS3 in 2006, and since then it's been used almost regularly. My son watches his movies on it, i play when i have time etc. A few days ago the shit just stopped working, i tried to turn it of and turn it on again, every time it starts for 4-5 seconds before the light turns yellow and the whole thing dies.

Im wondering if it's cheeper to just buy a new model instead of sending the old one for a repair??
    I ain't choosing sides
    Hell nah,fuck everybody
It's Westside when I ride watch 4 dead bodies
Lyrics are colorful words and anesthetics
Problems are getting worked out faster than calisthenics
    I'm bullet proof
Blazed up on top of my man's roof
Hands on a fully AK now what 'cha plan to do
Moon motherfuckaz til they feel me
It's West Coast nigga fuck New York
    Now did everybody hear me?

I believe the newer ones though they may look cheaper built are more superior than the old fat models.

I'd invest in one of those, I have a 40gb fat model, but am getting the 320 just because i need more space.
    Love.

You can fix it yourself for only a few dollars. It's kind of a mission but not THAT hard. Here's some video showing you exactly how to fix it. If fixing it is not an option then i would highly recommend just buying a new one since those are a bit more reliable than the fat ps3's.
