The PlayStation Network is About to go Down for a Day

The PlayStation Network undergoes maintenance all the time. Usually, though, it only lasts for 2-4 hours. On Thursday, the network is undergoing some serious maintenance, because it'll be down for most of the American day.

Starting at 8am Pacific and running until an estimated 10pm Pacific, almost everything PlayStation-related that uses the internet will be going offline. That means the PlayStation Store, online multiplayer, signing into accounts, editing accounts and PlayStation Home. If you're signed in once the maintenance starts, you'll be booted out.

You won't even be able to visit the PlayStation Blog for updates, because it'll be down as well. In fact about the only thing running will be Sony's PlayStation Twitter account, so maybe you can play with your friends on that...

Leave it to sony for not being able to hold a constant online service and always taken there network down for fixes.

Well seeing as how the PSN is free and Live isn't....Live SHOULD be better! BTW remember back in January my Xbox live account got hacked? Well to this day it hasn't been fixed and i have NO ACCESS to my account. I've literally contacted Microsoft like 20 times and still have not had my account returned to me. I actually tried again yesterday, started talking to this one lady and she put me on hold to talk to somebody or watever, ends up hanging up on me, i call back and then this other bitch says i didn't provide enough correct information to prove to them that i am who i say i am even though the same info has gone thru without a problem many times so she can't help me, i call back AGAIN 3 minutes later and find out the last bitch put a fuckin lock on my account because of the "wrong" info and now i have to wait 3 days for them to take the lock off my account. Seriously it has been problem after problem for the last two months and literally all i want is control of my account again and i've been dealt with nothing but bullshit. It's fuckin ridiculous but ooohhhh nooooo LIVE is better! Fuck that shit you idiots keep paying yearly to play online on a shit service, i will rather stick with free online play and no problems at all and deal with the one day of blackout.
