Hey, have you heard about this PSN thing? Between PSN Play, Day 1 Digital, various PS Plus bonuses, and this new offer, Sony really, really wants you to try PSN.

Today, Sony announced a deal that gets you $20 back in credit if you spend $100 on PSN in October. It's the perfect time to put such an offer out, as it interacts nicely with the Day 1 Digital deal. Buy two games from that program (some of which are already 10% off for PS Plus) and there's your $100. You can then put that $20 toward, say, Spelunker HD. Or anything else on PSN.

The credit will be emailed to you in November, and sent to you as an XMB message if you're using a PS3.

And they shouldn't ever complain because its not the 1st or 2nd gen era where you can chip your console and play games for $5. People are still paying the full amount for games with and without playing online

Games like Dead Space 2, Little Big planet 2, Red dead redemption with all DLC, Borderlands plus alot more full games. And its switching every month. I know alot people that have PSN+ and its growing big.

With Microsoft you cant choose and cant play online when not paying the monthly wages. The only company that is charging people is Microsoft, cause they force you to pay to play on their console, Sony Isnt.

All these 1 week or 1 month exclusives is just bullshit. Sony and Microsoft both have these kind of exclusives. For example Microsoft have COD, Sony Have Battlefield. Who cares about getting some DLC 1 week earlier? lol I doubt this is a reason for people to buy a Xbox or a PS.

As said before i care about getting DLC earlier whether its one week or its one month and i bet you others do to people do buy consoles for the exclusives heck i bought a ps3 just for metal gear solid 4 when it launched and im sure the halo series brought alot of people towards a 360.Also xbox live is not a monthly service its a yearly service generally although u can probably do it monthly and averages out to about 4.50$ a month which is nothing compared to when us collectors shell out 10 times that for a 2pac items.As for them releasing games like dead space 2(January 25, 2011),little big planet 2 (18 January 2011) red dead (May 18, 2010)(which is the most horrible game ever made period) and borderlands which sucks also there all almost 2 years if not 3 years old it costs them nothing to place them on there service as 99% of main stream hardcore gamers played all these games years ago and they can all be found in the discount bins at stores so plus is not really giving you anything extra.

-What happened to sony when they were hacked, can happen to any online service. Even the US government was hacked. So that doesnt mean anything. Besides the month down, because the hacking, Psn works amazing aswell. I have both consoles and I seriously see no difference when playing games online.
