Sony will ask you 5 euro each month to play online as well. You need a playstation plus account to play games online.

You forget that its not only paying for online gaming. Playstation PLus is a service were you get a lot more. There is a instant gaming collection, with free new Games every month (even big triple A titles). A lot discount on DLC's, games whatever. A cloud server were you can store all your save files, so they are not gone when you ps4/ps3 is gone. Plus now the ps3 is automaticly updating and downloading and installing demos you picked.

Its not like the xbox were you pay only to play online. Playstation plus have lots of additional services.

yea i know about play station plus.. but what about people like me who dont play or need such games/things..

i only want cod online.. and maybe risk online.. thats all.. i'm not that gaming freak.. this is why i am disappointed about sony.. they only think about hardcore gamers.. what about the general players who only play one game?? many of my friends ONLY play PES soccer.. now they have to pay 5€ every month to play it online as usual.. at the end of the day, playing PES online will cost u 60€ for the game itself, plus 5€ every month.. lol when i think about this more....... bye bye online gaming

They even released some video talking about used games (making fun of Microsoft) where on the bottom in clear print it says something like "to access the multiplayer features of games, you need a PSN account & a Playstation Plus subscription."

That whole used games issue is very confusing. Microsoft is being very stupid with their approach to the next generation. Read this (straight from Microsoft):

Trade-in and resell your disc-based games: Today, some gamers choose to sell their old disc-based games back for cash and credit. We designed Xbox One so game publishers can enable you to trade in your games at participating retailers. Microsoft does not charge a platform fee to retailers, publishers, or consumers for enabling transfer of these games.

Give your games to friends: Xbox One is designed so game publishers can enable you to give your disc-based games to your friends. There are no fees charged as part of these transfers. There are two requirements: you can only give them to people who have been on your friends list for at least 30 days and each game can only be given once.

In our role as a game publisher, Microsoft Studios will enable you to give your games to friends or trade in your Xbox One games at participating retailers. Third party publishers may opt in or out of supporting game resale and may set up business terms or transfer fees with retailers. Microsoft does not receive any compensation as part of this. In addition, third party publishers can enable you to give games to friends. Loaning or renting games won’t be available at launch, but we are exploring the possibilities with our partners.

"Enable" this, "enable" that. Apparently paying for a game doesn't mean you own it anymore as they want to dictate what you do with your own game. Used games policies and always-online is the problem with the Xbox One. Now that honestly doesn't effect me as I'm always connected with my system anyway and I only buy games new. But no matter, it's wrong what they're doing. Having to check-in online every 24 hours to prove that what you have is really yours is complete bullshit. If Microsoft don't change their ways, they're going to lose a ton of customers (myself included). A shame, because the Xbox One games look good.

5 euro for the Euro's or 5 dollar for the Yanks. Her Xbox Live is 7 euro a month, so its 2 euro less. Plus in my opinion a lot more to offer.

The new Xbox will be country restricted as well. So that means you cant import games from the US and Japan. Thats so shit.

I think the exclusive games from the xbox and ps3 will be around the same like on xbox 360 and ps3. Xbox showed a lot teaser from games we wont say in less then a year. Sony mostly showed games that will drop on the release or soon after that. Sony will 100% announce a lot more games. They said that they have tons more exclusive games, several studio's Naughty dog etc ddnt announced anything yet. So that is probably the reason why xbox showed more exclusive games.

It is just what kind of games you pefer. I prefer kilzone, Uncharted, GOW and a lot more Sony franchises.

Ps. I dont understand the hype around that game Ryse. The gameplay look so bad with quick time events only.

Yea free games, check out Playstaion plus on the ps3. There is a 10 instant game collection, were gmes switch every month.

Last months I get games like Hitman, Sleeping Doggs, Infamous 2, LBP 2 and lots other for free. This month they added ICO and shadow of colluses HD remakes for free. Soon they will add X-comm, Uncharted 3 and Deus X I think. Its pretty dope.

I heard if you have ps+ on the ps3, you will get Driveclub on the ps4 for free.

ps. I am pretty sure Sony will add a year thing that will be cheaper then 60. Maybe 50 if you buy a year PS+ directly or something like that.

Some games stay for 1 month others for 3 months. But if you have the game in your download history list, you can download it forever. If not, you cant download it after its gone in the store.

Ps. You can only play the games if you are ps+ member. If your ps+ is gone, the game will stay on your HDD but you cant play them anymore till you have Ps+ again.
