And why is that? I bet you can't give 1 legitimate reason for hating Xbox. Considering all you play is Call Of Duty (a game that's more popular on Xbox), that's a little surprising. The Xbox controller was built with first-person shooters in mind.

I hate Call Of Duty. Can we ban that from the forum? Same bullshit every year. Congratulations, you can play as a dog in the new one. Amazing innovation.

          1. I didn't realize you purchased a game system to use it as a blu-ray player.
          2. PS4 will do that, I guess you hate Sony now too. Live > PSN anyday. I guess that cost stops hacks from happening and shutting down the entire service for about a month.
          3. I'll give you the joypad. It's all up to preference though. "Looks and feels weird" is exactly how I feel about the PS3 controller. Shit is small and weightless (feels cheap).
          4. LOL @ PS2 had a menu that looks like the 360 dashboard. This is complete BS.
          5. This is probably the only legitimate one. Friends is a good reason. And LMAO @ "Xbox people are mostly alone". Wtf does that even mean? PSN doesn't have cross game chat. A HUGE plus when gaming with friends. You can talk to only who you want with the Xbox Party System. You and up to 7 of your friends can talk while gaming without having to listen to the 12 year olds that populate COD.
          6. Fair enough. GTA, AC & Tekken are quality series.

Btw, most multiplatform games run better on the 360. Skyrim & GTA IV are perfect examples.

You don't like Xbox, okay fine. But to say that you hate it when there's no real reason for that is a little ridiculous. A shame though, I think you'd like Halo & Gears Of War considering they have those big online shooter communities like COD. Shit, Halo used to run the online shooter community before COD took the thrown with COD4.

But I'm not trying to go back and forth with you. I just couldn't resist poking fun at the Sony jerkfest going on in this thread. I do admit though, I'm disappointed with Microsoft (as far as their policies). Games shown at the Microsoft conference (not just exclusives shown) looked better IMO than what was shown at the Sony conference. But overall, yeah Sony chin checked Microsoft. +1 to Sony.

          Edit:

COD2 is my favorite COD. Those kill streaks & perks made everything unbalanced. Most people that are "good" on COD nowadays would get their asses tossed up with the bolt-action rifles on COD2. No kill streaks or perks?! They wouldn't know what to do. Lol

i dont play cod single player never did.. i play online multiplayer search and destroy with my friends in a clan against other clans... sometimes its clever to read what i write.. fucl cod yes, but HELL YEAH search & destroy clan wars for the win.. if u never did it dont judge about it

i played gears of war and halo, gears of war was OK in coop mod with a friend, same goes for halo.. but god damn NO CHANCE in hell against search & destroy cod, really no chance

about the blu-ray player lmao, its an extra, a dope extra.. if it wasnt for ps3 i would never had the bluray feeling, which is nice.. also, i have read several times that ps3 bluray player are one of the best on the market.. which is a ++++++ for ps3 all day..

its all based on opinions and tastes.. but damn, ps3 outshines xbox for real.. i see NO + for xbox only - for xbox..

xbox joypad is too big too fat.. i am 1.86 meters big, i have big hands lol, but still, ps joypad is class for me.. there cant be any better joypad than ps joypads for me..

with xbox friends are mostly alone i mean, i dont know many people who have xbox.. that means when they play online, they are mostly all alone we ps3 people always have friends around who are online to play with.. as a xbox guy i would feel like the 5th wheel on a car

why u say no real reason?? for me the reasons i mentioned are more than real..

Its not true that most multiplatform games play better on Xbox. It depends on wich games, some games play better on xbox some on ps3. That most games play better on xbox is bullshit. For example Batman, AC have less problems on the ps3.

Most of the problems on ps3 are with Bethesda games, I think hey have no clue how the ps3 works lol.

Oh it is, because the 360 was the lead platform on most multiplatform games. Stuff was ported over to the PS3. And it's not just Bethesda, most developers had problems dealing with the PS3's cell processor. I don't know if it's still much of an issue today, but the first few years of this gen it was widely reported that most multiplatform stuff ran smoother on the 360.

                Lol

There's no getting through to you my man. I've seen how you put Bay Area Music on a pedestal like it's the greatest creation known to man (yeah I know, off topic).

Xbox Sucks! Playstation Rules! Did I do it right?

Fact is, both systems have their flaws. God forbid somebody actually enjoys and appreciates both systems for what they bring to the table.

                  u can get through me

and yes, that is right!!! without bay area, i would have to listen to pac 24/7 like others here do.. which means would be a must

lol dont take it too serious, i like to bring my opinion to the people, maybe sometimes in a bad way and sometimes in a right way..

back to topic, maybe i'll buy me a ps4 one day, but til then, i will keep my ps3 cause the games i have on my ps3 now are enough for a few years

Yea I agree with the first 1-2 years. The xbox was more like a pc, so it was more easier.

Thats one of the reason Ps4 will be like a pc as well.

ps is better becuz of their exclusive games like metal gear, god of war- but thats all my opinion plus whenever i enter my room i see the ps3 the black phanter it turns me on, so sexy.

i hate the xbox controller, plus their exclusive titles like gears is not a minute worth the console, menu is kiddy.

and one fact i noticed, all who have a ps have some diferent titles, i come to friends, wow this game woho this game
almost all ppl who own a xbox i see exactly the same titles on their shelfs, i dont know why, but its fact. i caught myself sooooo often in such situations.,
He was a nice middle class nigga

Hate to say though the graphics on the consoles is a AMD 7850, which is a midrange card.

The CPU is a 8 core AMD CPU clocked at 1.6.

That is ALREADY dated lol, theres 7850, 7870, 7950, 7970, 7990, GTX 670, GTX 680, GTX 690, GTX Titan, GTX 780, ALL OF WHICH ARE BETTER THAN THE 7850 by a substantial number.

And as for Processor, no way in league of Intels i7's etc.

Thats the good thing about PC though, you argue well its constant upgrade, true, but you dont have to, you could build one for 2 k top and be set for next 5 years and when it struggles add another part etc.

I game great on my pc rocked back in a comfy leather chair, with my Xbox 360 wireless controller and experience wonderful graphical games. AND, i play free online lol.
                          Love.

Good little informative read about Ryse & its QTE feature. Looks like it can be ignored.

                            Ryse: Son of Rome E3 hands-on - Not a QTE-heavy monster

Ryse may not be the show piece Gears Of War was for the Xbox 360, but it sure has potential.

Although they certainly made it seem otherwise, Ryse: Son Of Rome is not a QTE-obsessed mess.

If you were to base your opinions on what Microsoft showed at its E3 press conference, no one in their right mind would hold such a thought against you, but actually playing it is a very different story indeed.

Rather than act as your standard quick-time events, the buttons that flashes up above Marius Titas' head are in fact trigger points to execute a combo that you have already created.

Rather than offer pre-determined move sets, Crytek has opted to give you the choice of how and what strikes you string together. Successfully execute whatever form this may take and the last attack is highlighted on screen. Pulling it off will see you rewarded a high hit point score and, for example, a health boost.

Should you decide to ignore it, though, there are no punishments in place. The game doesn't stop or kick you back to an earlier checkpoint where you have to start again. You merely finish the melee manoeuvre in a different fashion for fewer personal gains.

It's a system that will increase over the course of Ryse, and one that will, as ever, earn you more trinkets the longer you play and the better you do. This really does feel like an aside, though. It's the combat where Son of Rome may prove to shine.

Seemingly taking a nod from the Arkham titles, Ryse's combat has a very set rhythm to it. You can button mash your way to success, but taking the time to actually find the right pacing turns Ryse into an almost different game entirely. Based around three major points - striking, executing and blocking - there's a real flow to how it all comes together, not least because, ala Batman, Crytek never traps you into the animation.

If you've opted to focus on one enemy only to find another one approaching from behind, it's perfectly possible to switch up your footing and stance to block the incoming shot with your shield. There's a great satisfaction to pulling it off too, and while that doesn't necessarily mean it'll survive on high throughout Ryse's entirety, actually playing it does mean there's some serious potential here.

As ever (Cyrtek are incapable of anything else it would seem) Son of Rome also looks ridiculous, etching emotion onto every character's face so that when they get killed, it'll certainly leave an impression. The opening of the demo may've reminded me far too much of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (it's almost identical to the beach breach opening) but it's a very intense and chaotic section to play, surely a concept Microsoft had planned from the start.

It's only fair to say that Ryse is a very linear, action driven experience but its choice of themes and imaginative mechanics (at one point you have to organise your troops and their shields in order to protect yourself from an artillery attack) work so well, Microsoft may have something very worthwhile here indeed.
