i think pro evolution is much much better, the dribbling, shooting, gameplay... everything...

maybe only the graphik is better on fifa... but this is the only positive thing...

i say from year to year fifa is always gettin' closer to pro evolution, because evolution is a better game...

it's like fifa the wannabe game!!!!!!

Yeah Pro Evo is much better in gameplay no doubt.

Though i think winning eleven is a little better then Pro Evo even though it's the same game.

I've always preferred Pro Evo gameplay until Fifa 09, but ive always liked the fact that FIFA has the real names etc

Yeh Jap version , the winning eleven graphics are a tad better along with the gameplay ,much smoother.

I have collection of all winning eleven and pro evo's to date.

My favourite one and the best 1 of all so far has to be.

^The normal version winning eleven or pro 2008 of this was absolute shit.

Now we have the 2009 version , the pro version is just about okay , but the WE version makes it better and more enjoyable but still could not top the special edition 2008.

The WE World Club Championship edition 2009 is going 2 be released in august and should improve on the normal version.

Can't wait for this 1 though, lets see if it can beat the special 08 version.

Wow I've been over at Pro Evolution boards for some time now and I've never heard of the 2008 version of WE Clubs Championship edition.I've heard PES 2008 was pure shyt and PES 2009 was mediocre the both unable to carry on the perfect trend of the series. Is WE Clubs Championship 2008/2009 available for the PC or just the consoles?

I usually played FIFA from 98 maybe up to 2006 but I then switch after playing WE 7 and then PES 5 and the last being PES 6. Every year EA sports boast about adding stuff to make FIFA more realistic but I have found FIFA to be the same old arcade game with just a few improved stuff so I'll gave it to PES/WE even though I haven't played the lastest of both games.

Yea unless they make a drastic improvement to fifa , it will never top winning eleven ever.

Winning eleven club championship series is only available for the PS2.
This game is the most realistic to date with really smooth gameplay , shots , tackles , ref , graphics , there is nothing to complain about really except for maybe the keeper needs a lil improvement to perfect it.

I tell u it's well worth it to even buy a ps2 just for this series if u don't already have 1.

I forgot to say that winning eleven 2009 is shit on both xbox360 and ps3.
But is better on the PS2 even though it aint great.

The PS2 winning eleven 2009 version came out late this year and they made improvements to it.

There are a few torrents available for this game on the web ,don't know how well there seeded though.

I think it will take a couple more years until they will improve on the 360 or PS3 versions.

I don't expect the 2010 WE or pro evo to be any good for these next gen , maybe a few edits , graphics.
But the future is bright for PS2 for the winning eleven series , be it the normal version or special version.
PS2 has always been the best for a number of years for WE

After watching and doing a bit of research on the WE Series I've found (from u and other sources) WE series to be superior in terms of gameplay as oppose to PES. The thing I like about PES is the vast amount of patches and addons available for the PC versions which I play even though PES 2009 and 2008 have been getting alot of stick for not being like it's previous predecessors. WE on the other hand seem to have the gameplay and AI on par but since they are on the Consoles and not much addons and content support is given to the WE series without these addons it feels more more generic, bland and boring (which it makes up in it's gameplay). So it's a real give and take but I'm sticking with PES atm.

The Winning eleven has quite a few fan sites and has many patches and addons.

It has a vast mount of patches for all the versions of winning eleven.from WE 8 to this day WE 2009.

Winning eleven 2009 , i have like 3 copy's of this game each with different patches and some extra features.
Same for all my Winning Eleven's , i have like 3 or 4 different versions for each year.

The best patch i have ever enjoyed was for WE10 special edition which includes all the classic kits to new ones.
It has a choice of at least 30 balls.
70 stadiums.
Plus few more add ons
The real plus is that it has all the world classic teams from 70's to 2008.
Which is absolutely dopeness.

There are quite a few dedicated patchers for the PS2 versions tilll today and the next in line to be patched will be WE2009 special edition , then in January WE 2010

But that is untrue.
There is really good support and has very dedicated patchers.

I could be nice and help u out with all WE series with various patches if u decide to buy a PS2.

I forgot to mention about WE 8 , this one is the most different to Pro version of it and comes in line to be the second best in the series.

WE 8 had 3 special edition versions.
All were amazing

While the fans have got thier hands on quite a few amazing patches for the WE2008 and WE2009 club editions.

Patches / addons / extra's / option files for previous versions are available for download on WE fan websites.

Now the fans and the patchers are getting ready for Winning Eleven 2009 world club edition which is suppose to be better then the special 2008 version which was the best of the series.
