Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes doesn't have a Platinum Trophy on PS3 or PS4 thanks to Sony regulations, series creator Hideo Kojima has explained.
Taking to Twitter, the video game veteran explained that Sony will only allow full-priced games to have Platinum Trophies, which is why Ground Zeroes fails to qualify.

The reason GZ doesn't have Platinum Trophy in PS4 is due to SONY's regulation. They won't allow us to have them for non-full price game.
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes launches later this week in both North America and Europe, though it's been delayed in Australasia. It's set to ship with 13 bronze trophies, and then one each of silver and gold.
Earlier this morning, we revealed rumours that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to launch in early 2015, according to a message spotted by fans of the franchise.
