It looks like Sony will be enjoying a 'Jingle all the Way' scenario until the American summer, as the company continues its struggle to keep up with demand for its latest console.
“We’re struggling to keep up with demand,” head of Sony’s PlayStation division Andrew House told The Wall Street Journal. “Conservatively, as we get into the early summer months, we’ll be closer to a full supply situation.”
Earlier this month, Sony announced PS4 sales have passed the 6 million unit mark less than four months after launch. The last update we received on Xbox One sales revealed 3 million units had been sold to consumers by the end of last year, though 3.9 million have been shipped to retailers. We've not heard an update since, but one presumes there's been fresh interest in Microsoft's console since the launch of its excellent exclusive Titanfall on March 14.
