At Sony’s pre-TGS press conference in Japan, Bloodborne’s release date was revealed. It will launch on February 5th, 2015. This release date has only been confirmed for the Japanese market.
Bloodborne, which is under development at From Software with assistance from Sony-owned Japan Studio, is a game crafted from the same mold as Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, and was initially revealed as a PlayStation 4-exclusive title back at E3.
February 5th falls on a Thursday, which would be an unusual day of the week to release a game in western territories. So it's unlikely that exact date will be when western countries will receive Bloodborne. It's also extremely close to the release of The Order: 1886, another major PS4-exclusive that's set to launch on February 20th in the west (you can read more about The Order: 1886 right here). However, we've reached out to Sony for clarification on the date for western audiences, and will update when we hear back.
