i'm thinking the game will be one of those online only. if it's procedurally generated wouldn't it have to be logged onto some sort of server to send the information? i'm not sure how all that works. but from what i've gathered it's an online game. you can name creatures and planets too and it's uploaded to some database and other players can find them.

i think it will be online only. i don't think there is a story really. i don't think the game has any direction or anything telling you what to do. you just do what you want. you start on your own planet. you collect resources and explore. you can be a pirate and steal from AI or you can defend them and get rewards. you just do whatever you want. they said it will be very hard to find other players but it's not impossible. i suppose the overall objective is to get to the center of the universe. i'm excited to see what's out there. I've watched a lot of videos but haven't seen any new ones in a few months. but they may have not put any out. i think the release is scheduled for June.

damn the center of the universe... cant wait to explore space lol even if its in a game

i really hope this game lives up to its hype and expectations. Because I've been waiting for what feels like forever.

I remember watching E3 and seeing this game, looked amazing. I hope the game lives up to the hype and doesn't end up just reusing resources between worlds like crazy. Looking forward to playing it whenever it does come out though.

yeah i'm pretty excited i think it is scheduled for June this year. i've been so stuck on Destiny but i'll have to lay it down to try this one.

The video from E3 was weak. There are other better videos of gameplay out there but to understand more about this game you really have to listen to the creator of it.
