Days Gone - What's Your Thoughts?

I've been playing Days Gone since it released. I am enjoying the game but i have watched reviews that haven't been that great. i guess the game wasn't meeting their expectations. Saying the game was repetitive and the story wasn't good. To me it's fun, you have an open world and you can kill zombies with different weapons, get attacked by animals, and other humans. it never gets old beating zombies with melee weapons. The hordes are pretty fun and i made it to the Sawmill horde which was insane!

I don't get the negative at all, i'm enjoying the game
It's so much fun to me

I'm not halfway the story yet. I heard the hordes can be intense and difficult at times but i guess it's the just finding out the right way to approach them

The same was said about Red Dead Redemption 2 i don't care about reviews of some 'experts' because RDR2 RULEZ lol and game is dope in any apects

still playing Dark Souls Remastered ...still need 3 trophies. after that I plan to play "Sekiro" and "Nioh". Maybe I'll play "Days Gone" next year (or the remastered edition on PS5)

Not addictive, but certainly enjoyable. Feel free to drop a brief review in my "Finished PS4 Games" thread after you completed it. I'm currently 813 days gone and got Boozer a new healthy dog.

It was good, but it sucked at the same time. A lot of potential

You're playing Red Dead Redemption, but using a motorbike instead of a horse, up against zombies.

And stealing the same point system from Metal Gear Solid Survival.

So, not a lot of new, or originality came from it. Only thing I got good out of the game was the song when you're escorting Boozer to the next reigion.

The last time I played it, before ripping the CD out of the slot, was falling through the map after getting chased by a hoard of zombies.

If you love a generic post-apocolytic storyline with a ton of glitches, the combo of RDR x MGS, then this game is perfect for you.

I’m glad you guys are enjoying it as well. I’m not sure off hand how many days gone I am. I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone and since they have shown the bear wrapped in the barbed wire I will say I’m past seeing those bears and have started that journey. I like to go around and uncover the map and find all collectibles and stuff before doing the story for the moats part. I’ve ran along the map all the way around lol making sure I don’t miss anything on the borders. If you’re going for trophies i have found the 12 rocks you kick over by doing this. There’s also more than 12 to kick for the record.

I cannot wait for The Last Of Us part 2!

Despite those mixed reviews the game has topped the UK charts for a number of weeks and has sold really well over in Japan. In just two weeks it has racked up sales of nearly 150,000 units, beating the lifetime sales of God of War.

It’s also beaten the lifetime sales of Detroit: Become Human and The Last Guardian, and well on the way to thrashing the lifetime sales of Uncharted 4: Among Thieves, which stand at a little over 200,000 units.

Those can't be worldwide numbers. No way this game has passed God Of War or Uncharted 4 lifetime sales. Especially not this early. The other 2 games I can believe.

That is hard to believe it beat those games but it’s been in the works a while and very anticipated.

I beat it today I really enjoyed the game. Now I need to go beat all the hordes. I fought some but saved a lot. They are fun. I made save files before fighting some to replay them because once you beat them you cannot replay them to my knowledge. They’re fun I’ve began using proxy bombs and stuff and running to make them chase me and blow up on those and other explosives. Lots of fun. I hope you guys enjoy it as I have.

i grinded all day yesterday and i'm 100% complete on everything on the game and i got the platinum trophy.

i love it red dead i stopped playing after a certain point (dont wanna blow spots for anyone who didnt get there) but i think people were upset cause 1 the game isnt easy... 2 its not grand theft auto zombies lol and theres also mad glitches!!!! i had 8 bit cars in my game lol to me this game is like the evil within walking (dead) grand theft redemption lol overall i love this game !!!!
