Not a chance... I love HD updates to be honest. In nearly every case they bring an otherwise Amazing Game into the next generation and help to build it's fan base. I honestly wish Nintendo would follow suit and update the original Mario Games and Mario World along with the first 2 Zeldas along with a Link to the Past into all new visuals.

Some of the HD Updates I own...

-Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes (Game Cube) - Still own the Original PS1 version as well.
-God of War Collection (PS3) - Still own the ps2 versions as well.
-Resident Evil Directors Cut (Gamecube) - Still own the original ps1 version.
-Super Mario All Stars (SNES) - Own all 3 of the original Mario Games.
-Super Mario All Stars 25th anniversary edition (wii) - Now I own the original 3 Mario games 3 times.

And yeah, I plan on getting Resident Evil 4 even though I own it for Game Cube, and I'll buy a Halo remake too if it happens.
