The Xbox 360 is getting a set of holiday bundles as well as a short-term $50 price cut, Microsoft announced today.
As Kotaku reported over the weekend, the $50 discount promotion applies to the 250GB Xbox 360, the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, and the 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect. (Not included: the 4GB Xbox 360 without Kinect.)
The $50 discount promotion also applies to the Limited Edition Halo 4 console, which is currently available for pre-order and will be sold beginning November 6 (Halo 4's launch date), as well as to this year's holiday bundles.
The holiday bundles all include an array of games and include one month of Xbox Live Gold. Those, with their pre-discount prices, are:
$399.99: 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports, and Kinect Adventures
$299.99: 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect, Kinect Disneyland Adventures, and Kinect Adventures
$299.99: 250GB Xbox 360 with Skyrim and Forza 4 Essentials Edition
The holiday bundles are available now at Best Buy, GameStop, Amazon, Target, Toys R Us, and Walmart, according to a Microsoft press release.
