Hey you, it’s 2013! Last year was a mixed bag for horror fans, but between the inevitable unveiling of at least one next-gen console (likely from Microsoft), and a slew of horror games — like Dead Space 3, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Slender: The Arrival, Day Z standalone, Outlast, Until Dawn, I could keep going — there’s a very good chance this year will make up for it. Remedy Entertainment, the studio that brought us the amazing Alan Wake series is excited too. On their official Alan Wake Facebook page, they posted “The new year starts with good news: Alan Wake Franchise is -75% on Steam. Even greater Remedy news to come in 2013…” The fanboy in me immediately went to Alan Wake 2 as a launch title for the next Xbox, but it could also be a follow-up to the excellent XBLA exclusive American Nightmare. What do you think?
